Nick Hutton
Chief Executive Officer
A veteran of the Asia Pacific telecommunications industry, Nick Hutton is the Chief Executive Officer of U21Global and has proven experience in building businesses across the region. His previous role at RGB Networks was Vice President, Asia Pacific. Prior to that, Hutton was based in Shanghai as Chief Marketing Officer at Alcatel Asia Pacific and was responsible for the overall management of marketing and communications programmes in Asia Pacific to build the company's business in the region.
Earlier, Hutton was Vice President, Asia Pacific, for 3Com subsidiary CommWorks Corporation, where he was responsible for setting up and leading a team to grow the company's carrier business across the region. Prior to CommWorks, he served as Vice President/General Manager of the Alcatel/Newbridge Internetworking Division for Asia Pacific, where he established strong relationships and worked closely with major telecom operators. Hutton's career also includes a successful 15-year stint at Apple Computer, where he was Director of Sales & Marketing for Asia, based in Hong Kong and Singapore.
He holds a degree in Business Management from Oxford Brooks University in the UK.
Dr Wing Lam
Dean
Wing Lam is Dean of U21Global. He has an established reputation for technology-based innovation, a theme which underpins much of his teaching, research and industry expertise. His teaching portfolio comprises graduate courses in IT Strategy, Knowledge Management, Outsourcing and Strategic Management. He is also active in executive education, where he works closely with major corporations to translate their organisational learning needs into management and leadership programmes, and helps them to maximise the ROI from training and development budgets.
His research portfolio revolves around enterprise integration, knowledge management and online education; he has contributed over 80 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers. He is co-editor of the book 'Enterprise Architecture and Integration: Methods, Implementation and Technologies' published in 2007 by Information Science Reference, Idea Group.
Dr Lam actively contributes to the professional community in various capacities. He was a member of various conference committees and previously served on the editorial review boards of Online Information Review, Journal of E-Government and Management Decision. He regularly contributes topical articles to the IT press and practice journals such as IEEE IT Professional. As part of his commitment to corporate social responsibility, he uses social networking sites such as YouTube and Facebook to promote Green IT.
Prior to establishing his academic career, Dr Lam had a successful business technology consulting career with Logica (now Logica-CMG), International Computers (now Fujitsu) and Accenture where he was involved in managing large-scale IT projects and creating technology-based ventures.
He holds a BSc (First Class Honours) from Salford University, UK (1990) and PhD (Computer Science) from King's College London, UK (1994).
Sarah Teo
Director, Operations
Sarah Teo heads the Operations at U21Global and oversees the delivery of learning solutions, from inception to implementation to maintenance. She provides leadership in the areas of learning design, learning technology and support services for effective learning in a holistic learning environment. She works with colleagues to deliver learning solutions for sustainable organisational development for industry leading companies, with a few earning international Training and Development awards through the executive programmes with U21Global.
Prior to joining U21Global, Ms Teo was Principal Consultant, Senior Manager in a Singapore-based e-learning solution provider. She managed the delivery of many large e-learning projects for major companies like Singapore Airlines, Singapore's Civil Service College and the UK's University for Industry. In addition, she provided consultancy services in e-learning implementation and evaluation of e-learning courses. She also taught instructional design subjects at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. Previously, she was Head, Instructional Design at Singapore Computer Systems. As part of her personal development and contribution to the learning industry, she writes papers and gives talks to both private and public organisations.
She earned her Master of Arts Degree in Instructional Design and Technology from the National Institute of Education, NTU.
Shrikant Sinha
Managing Director, Europe, Middle East & Africa and Global Head - New Business Initiatives.
Shrikant Sinha is Managing Director, Europe, Middle East & Africa and Global Head - New Business Initiatives. Based in Bangalore, he is responsible for Recruitment in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa and U21Global's White Labeling business worldwide along with Global Corporate Accounts.
He has more than 22 years of experience in education and training. Before joining U21Global in 2005, he was a Senior General Manager with India's leading IT education company Aptech and was responsible for business development in Latin America as well as setting up Aptech College and University. At Aptech, he was responsible for operations in the Middle East. He was also in charge of the higher-end training division for North India and was Product Head for a new business line for educational institutions. He had a successful stint in centre and channel management and also conducted IT training to companies. Prior to Aptech, he was a Junior Consultant at ISS & Academy of Computer Education (Cyber Media Group's data-processing and training division) and Computer Business Services.
Mr Sinha was the keynote address speaker at the First GCC Conference on Computer Based Training in 1995 at Doha, Qatar. He was also instrumental in promoting e-commerce and e-business in North India as a speaker on various forums organised by Hindustan Times, Jagan Institute of Management, Rotary Club, Computer Society of India, as well as governments of Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, etc. He was a panelist at the ISTD 38th National Convention at Hyderabad and is quoted in the press regularly. He has a degree in Physics from Delhi University and a postgraduate diploma in Computer Applications.
